College Hockey Video of the Week (11/1/10): DU Head Coach Geroge Gwozdecky goes nuts

Every Head Coach has different styles. Some are quiet, some are loud, some give speeches, some say nothing, etc.

Denver Pioneers Head Coach Geroge Gwozdecky definitely has his own style, which you can see in this video.

Coach Gwozdecky has been very successful over his college hockey career. He also has won two Spencer Penrose Awards as the National Coach of the Year, and is the only person to win an NCAA hockey championship as a player (Wisonsin 1977), assistant coach (Michigan State 1986), and head coach (Denver 2004-2005). I was lucky enough to see Gwozdecky and the Pioneers win the national championship in Boston and Columbus, respectively.

I remember being a kid and sitting directly across from the Army bench and watching then Head Coach Rob Riley when he got upset with a call. He would get so mad that he turned red and looked like his eyes were going to pop out of his head. But, he never did anything like this:
