Union tops RPI in another thrilling rivalry game

Jeremy Welsh scored the game-winner
I'm not even surprised about how the game ended up last night. Every game in recent memory between Union and RPI has ended in dramatic fashion, and last night's was no different as it ended in a controversial call. This game is one people will talk about for a long time. The atmosphere was electric and very intense. I don't think I've seen the student section that packed in a very long time. Hopefully the students keep it up when they return in the winter term.
Oh, and guess who predicted a 2-1 Union win? This guy! Hopefully I go two-for-two this weekend.

Here are some videos from the Union-RPI game on Friday night at Messa Rink.

I caught some really cool footage including Jeremy Welsh's game-winner, RPI Head Coach Seth Appert flipping out after the disallowed goal, and Appert showing the media the video of the disallowed goal. Unfortunately, the press box isn't the ideal place to film these things (because of the angle and netting) so the quality isn't that great. But, it's still pretty cool.
