The Terriers return from the holiday brake and face Umass, who BU opened the season with back on October 16th. For the Terriers Joe Pereira will be out due to surgery and David Warsofsky will miss the game because he is playing in the WJC.Scouting the Minutemen
Umass had bean on a roll but they where derailed after unranked Bentley beat the Minutemen in the final of the UConn Hockey Classic. Umass on the season is 11-6-0 and 6-4-0 in Hockey East play. the Minutemen are currently in 4th place in Hockey east and are ranked 15th in the nation.
The last time they met
October 16th was the last time the Terrier saw the Minuteman. BU lost the season opener in the Mullins Center 3-2. Bu was trailing in the game 2-0 but than came back and tied the game at two. Freshman Alex Chiasson had both Terrier goals. Umass scored a quick goal in the third and the Terriers could not recover.
