Valery-
Trabucco was the reason why the Dutchmen were able to come back against
RPI
last Wednesday. After scoring the first goal of the game, Mario and the Dutchmen were down 3-1 in the
third period before Mario ripped two lasers over Allen York's shoulder in a matter of two minutes to tie the game. The Dutchmen went on to win the game 5-4. On Friday Mario registered a goal and an assist against the U.S. U-18 team.
The last time a student-athlete was named
ECAC Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks was
Clarkson's Shea Guthrie last January.
Mario currently leads the team with 10 goals, 11 assists, and 21 points.
