Union Gets More Love In The Polls

This past weekend the Dutchmen swept the North Country. On Friday they beat Clarkson 4-3 in overtime and followed that up with a 5-2 win over St. Lawrence.

Once again, Union has moved up in the USCHO poll:

USCHO: up two spots to 5th

INCH: stay at 4th
USA Today/ USAHM: up two spots to 5th

PWR: tied for 8th with UNO
RPI: 4th
KRACH: 7th

This weekend Union wraps up the regular season at Messa Rink against Quinnipiac and Princeton. With two games to play, the Dutchmen are in first place and one point ahead of Yale in the ECAC standings. They control their own destiny. If they win both games they will be the top-seed in the ECAC playoffs, and will probably secure a bid to the NCAA tournament.
