Petoskey, Soo break record in 6 OTs

Saulte St. Marie and Petoskey battled for 92 minutes and 34 seconds last night -- nearly 6 complete overtime periods -- before the Soo scored the game-winner in a 2-1 playoff victory. The game now stands as the longest game in the MHSAA record books, surpassing the previous record held by GRCC and Mattawan. Those two teams played a 6-OT game (86 minutes, 55 seconds) in the March 2006 state
