"This is nothing compared to the meadows they had," said Makendra Silverman as she brushed Arroyo, a 3-month-old mustang foal at a private barn near Woodman Road in northwest Colorado Springs. Silverman is the associate director of the Could Foundation, a Colorado Springs based non-profit dedicated to the preservation and protection of wilds horses and burrows on public lands.
