Weekend Preview: BU & Northeastern

Tonight could very well be the last game of the season played at Agganis Arena. The Terriers, and the rest of Hockey East will look to lock up the final field of 8 for the Hockey East playoffs. This weekend all BU needs to do to get in is take one point from the Husky's. To find the entire lis of whys BU can make the HE tournament, click here.

the teams will play a home in home series. the firs game will be at Agganis Arena and the saturdays game will be held at Matthew's Arena.

Notes on Northeastern 
After this weekend is done the Terriers and Husky's will have met four times. Right now that looks like that will be the only four times the will play each other. They can not play each other in the first round of the HE tourny.

Northeastern, after losing to BU in the opening round of the Beanpot won five games in a row including one against Boston College. Since beating BC the Husky's have not won a game. They lost to the next night to the Eagles and the lost an tied UNH. NU will also look to get in to the tourny tonight and saturday.

The last time they met...
was the first monday in February in the Beanpot semis. BU won when Alex Chaisson beat the NU goalie short side to give BU the lead. They would go on and lose to BC in the championship game.
