Hudsonville made the journey to mid-Michigan for the weekend and opened up their trip against Midland Dow. The Chargers took the early lead finding the net at 9:46 of the first period on a goal by Eli Rytlewski. Hudsonville responded for the equalizer late in the first when John Kersaan took a pass in the neutral zone from Robby Decker and buried the wrist shot from the top of the circles. It
